Welcome to our practice.

At Repose, we’re dedicated to yoking the mind, body, and spirit. We empower you with the tools to access conscious relaxation to help you recover from chronic stress and manage anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our mission is to guide you in developing resilience and accessing self-knowledge; to overcome challenges and make positive changes in your life.

In our journal, we’re excited to share our practice with you. We understand practice as “the practice of psychotherapy,” but also as the practice of healing. Healing is a totally individual process; however, we can understand it generally as the process of deepening self-awareness and making a commitment to personal growth and evolution.

We’re interested in navigating what’s trending in the wellness world and sharing some of our own self-care rituals. For us, “wellness” need not be exclusive (and the path to entry does not necessarily involve purchasing the latest jade face roller). We believe wellness to be the sum of intention + change + acceptance. It can be both free and completely individual. While we might entertain some of the latest trends, we do so with a discerning eye, and always with a nod to the integrity of the science behind it. We’re interested in sharing our own rituals with you, as well as some time-tested psychotherapy treatment models we’ve seen in action.
